This is a great magazine for pianists or (like me) wannabe pianists. The music in each issue is alway interesting, beautifully printed, and has helpful hints. There is a range from beginner to advanced, so there is something for everyone. The teaching articles are very good, and my only reservation is that the other editorial material is only so-so. It could be more interesting.

I took lessons for 15 years and feel with even with the purchase of only 2 issues of this magazine, better about myself as a pianist, more eager to learn and satisfied with the techniques, tips and knowledge. I know I should have and could have moved beyond the intermediate level after all this time, yet neither of my teachers ever pushed me to do that. I had never memorized music either. Only could play with music the past 20 years. Now, thanks to an article in issues 62 and 65, it's been two months and I've memorized my first song--Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata. It's so nice to be able to sit down at any piano and just play without music! Honestly, I can't imagine going back to being dependent on sheet music now! I wish I'd had this years ago; thankfully I have it now and it has cultivated a new zest and appreciation of playing. Highly recommended. Good for any level.

A one stop shop for anything to do with piano...truly a magazine that delivers more than what you pay....musical scores with masterclasses, a CD to go with the scores offered, cameos on various composers, various pianists, articles of different pianos...always new, fresh info that proves to be very helpful, no matter where you are musically...been looking for a magazine like this for a while...it beats them all..
