Terms and conditions for promotional codes and special subscription offers

Use of special subscription offers and/or promotional codes on www.expressmag.com website is governed by the terms and conditions outlined below, which constitute a contract between you and Express Mag. Express Mag may amend these terms and conditions at any time.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING SPECIAL SUBSCRIPTIONS OFFERS AND/OR PROMOTIONAL CODES ON OUR WEBSITE.

• Special subscriptions offers and promotional codes can be applied in the same Cart at the same time
• However, only ONE promotional code will be applied per Cart
• A promotional code applies to the entire Cart according to the conditions associated to the promotion (maximal number of uses, specified titles, minimum or maximum price threshold…)
• Only ONE promotion is valid per subscription
• Promotions cannot be combined on the same product
• A special subscription offer MUST be entered on the product page of the magazine corresponding to the offer
• A promotional code MUST be entered directly in the Cart
• During the purchase process, the LAST promotional code applied will be used as the one selected by the consumer
• If the consumer possesses multiple promotional codes for a specific product, the consumer is free to select the promotion of their choice to be applied
• Promotions cannot be used towards back-issues or sale per copy magazines
• Certain promotional codes are restricted to specific products
• Certain promotional codes will be limited to a maximum number of uses. Once the set threshold has been reached, the promotional code will no longer be valid
• In certain cases, a promotional code will be available at step 1 of the purchase process (gathering of information), but will no longer be available by step 3 of the purchase process (verification and payment)
• If the promotional code is no longer available by step 3, the consumer will not be eligible to benefit from the promotional code
• Certain promotional codes are conditional and must meet a minimum total purchase price, after taxes, pre-determined by Express Mag
• If the minimum total purchase price, after taxes, does not meet the minimum price threshold pre-determined by Express Mag, the promotional code will not be considered valid and will not be applied
• Certain promotional codes are conditional and cannot exceed a maximum total purchase price, after taxes, pre-determined by Express Mag
• If the maximum total purchase price, after taxes, pre-determined by Express Mag is exceeded, the promotional code will not be considered valid and will not be applied
• If your Cart contains one or more special subscription offers, the discounted amount associated to this offer will not be applied towards the total sale price (after taxes) of your order, as you will have already benefitted from a promotional price. As a result, you may not meet the pre-determined minimum/maximum price threshold.
• In cases where promotions cannot be applied, consumers will be prompted by an error message
• These error messages will indicate the reason in which the promotion cannot be applied
• Not all promotions offer a monetary discount
• In cases in which a promotion will result in a monetary discount, the discount will be applied on the total amount after taxes
• Promotional codes will be applied on step 3 of the purchase process
• If a promotional code resulting in a monetary discount is applied towards an open-ended subscription, the monetary amount of the rebate will be applied in equal parts for the first year of the subscription. Subsequently, only a portion of the monetary rebate will be applied on the first payment with the remaining value of the rebate applied to the future payments of the open-ended subscription (for the first year).
• In order to benefit from any promotional code offered, payment MUST be made by credit card excluding offers not resulting in a monetary discount which may be paid by cheque as well as credit card.
