Purchase Policy
The price of payable subscription for each ordered product appears compared to the
product offered on the Site. The delivery expenses are included in the prices indicated.
The applicable sales taxes are not included.
Express Mag reserves the right to modify in any time, without notice, the price
of the products offered on the Site. All our prices are in Canadian dollars.
Cancellation Policy
Express Mag promises to give you a quality service. If, for whatever reason you
are not entirely satisfied with your product, you can terminate your subscription
and ask for a refund of the remaining numbers.
To cancel your subscription, communicate with our Customer Contact Center at 1 800 363 1310 (toll free) Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (EST).
No refund can be made after the end of the subscription.
Product Availability
ExpressMag, being an agent of the various publishers, does not guarantee in any
case the availability of the products offered on the Site.
If, for any reason, Express Mag cannot deliver the product which you have ordered,
it promises to notify you of it. The following solutions will then be offered to
you:
- Ask for a transfer of subscription towards another product of an equal value.
- Ask for a refund of the price of subscription or numbers not having been delivered,
depending on the circumstance.
Express Mag will not be in any time responsible for any damage which you could undergo
because of an insufficiency of inventory.
Delivery Policy
Express Mag will deliver the products which you will have ordered by regular mail
at the address that you will have transmitted at the time of your order
For European and British magazines, delivery will be made by Express Mag as soon as possible. The delivery time is estimated between 4 to 6 weeks from receipt of the order.
For French magazines (Point de Vue, Le Point, Connaissance des arts, La revue, Science & Vie, Science & Vie Hors-série, Science & Vie Junior, Science & Vie Junior Hors-série, Science & Vie découvertes, Les Cahiers de Science & Vie, Guerres et Histoire) delivery is made from France by the publisher within 4-6 weeks.
For North American magazines, delivery is made by the publisher within 8 to 10 weeks of receipt of the order.
Subject to an open-ended subscription, ExpressMag must receive the first payment
agreed upon for the term of the subscription before proceeding to the first delivery.
In the case of a regular subscription, ExpressMag must receive the full payment
agreed upon before proceeding to the first delivery.
Payment Policy
Express Mag will perceive on the credit card that you identified to him the periodic
payment foreseen to the terms of your subscription.
Express Mag accepts the following methods of payment:
- Visa
- MasterCard
- Cheque
(to the care of ExpressMag)
In the case of an open-ended subscription, you authorize Express Mag to debit your
credit card, according to the selected offer. The order will be automatically renewed
each year to the same advantageous conditions, unless otherwise advised by you.
Any price modification will be communicated to you in writing by Express Mag.
Express Mag guarantees the price of the subscription for the duration subscribed
at the time of the order.
COPPA law
Express Mag agrees to comply with the U.S. Coppa law (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act).
Accordingly, Express Mag, before each transaction, requests a confirmation that the user is 13 years old and more.
In addition, Express Mag retains, knowingly, no personal data from children under the age of 13. If Express Mag would learn that some personal information from children under the age of 13 was retained in its database, Express Mag agrees to remove immediately such data from its database.
Responsibility
Express Mag acts as agent for the publishers in its relationship with the customers.
For this reason, it cannot incur any personal liabilities towards the latter. Consequently,
in the case of a publisher bankruptcy, Express Mag will not refund any sum engaged
in the products purchase no longer being sold or having ceased appearing. The users
wishing to be refunded products no longer being sold or having ceased appearing
are requested to communicate with the official liquidator elected for this purpose
in order to obtain compensation.
In the possibility where the responsibility of Express Mag would be engaged to your
consideration, this one will be limited to the amount being equivalent to the price
of the order.
Notwithstanding the aforementioned, nothing in this article can have the effect
of limiting your rights as a consumer pursuant to any public laws which may apply
to you.
